We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Burnley Artist, Mr Peter Chippendale.
A few years ago we asked if P.Chippendale paintings would be interested in helping us for an upcoming fundraiser to celebrate the 125th opening anniversary of the Burnley Empire, and within a couple of days he painted the most fantastic painting of the Burnley Empire.
We all agreed that the original painting was too special to part with and instead created a one of a kind print that was signed by Peter and auctioned on the night at Turf Moor.
We will always remember Peter's generosity and kind support. Our thoughts are with Peter's family.
